Stock Levels

The "Stock Levels" page is your primary dashboard for viewing the current state of all products in your inventory.

Stock Value Overview​

At the very top of the page, you will see two key financial metrics for your inventory:

  • Current Overall Stock Value: The total cost value of all your products currently in stock.
  • Expired Stock Value: The total cost value of all stock that has expired.

Searching and Filtering Products​

To help you find specific items, the page provides several tools:

  • Search: You can search for products by their Brand Name or Product Name.
  • Filter by Status: You can filter your product list to show only items with a specific status:
    • In stock
    • Low stock
    • Out of stock
    • Expiring soon
    • Expired
  • "Show Near Depletion Only" Toggle: When enabled, this toggle will show all products that are either near their depletion (low stock) or expiry date.

Product Inventory Table​

Below the filters is a complete table of your inventory products. The table includes the following columns:

  • Product Name
  • Brand
  • Category
  • Current Stock (quantity)
  • Unit (Packs, KG, Ltrs)
  • VAT Type
  • Min. Selling Price (per unit)
  • Selling Price (per unit)
  • Selling Margin
  • Last Stocked Date
  • Expiry Date
  • Status (e.g., In stock, Expired, Low stock)
  • Edit Button: (Admin & BranchAdmin only)

Editing Product Details​

Users with Admin or BranchAdmin roles will see an Edit button for each product. Clicking this button opens a modal that allows you to edit the core details of that product, such as:

  • Name
  • Brand Name
  • Category
  • Unit of Measure
  • VAT Type
  • Low Stock Threshold
  • Expiry Alert
